Just bought some plates for the yellow car, going for roadworthy tomorrow. Since I don't think I can drive around with a VIC permit in Canberra. [B)]

They're Cibie's. Came with the car so I don't know how much they cost, but I've seen sets on eBay go for up to $1k[:u]. I think they're pretty hard to get over here, so bringing them over from the UK might be easier?

you can get cibies here at a reasonable price, good place to check is local rally clubs. as you can recondition them they dont come up that often, you can get them new but they are not cheap. they are called oscars and super oscars. cant get any better.

Blake did you get knocked back on having the spot lights??? whats the reasoning? Also I am amazed that those Rs2000 plates have not been taken already by someone in Vic!!!!! how much does it cost for those plates(i remember you said somewhere...lazy). I have ordered my number plates for the canberra cruise ... but they said 4-6weeks till ready[xx(][8~2][8~2] so i will not get them in time, oh well i take it as an unfinished project[B)]

No idea why I can't have the spotlights, can't see them as being worse than a bull bar. Oh well. VIC brought out new plates a few days ago where you can have a mix of letters and numbers, so I quickly got RS2ooo. Now that I can't get the yellow one on the road I'll have to save them for the project. [xx(]

Mmmm maybe they are not correctly fitted? Coz have you seen Police patrol cars? they have those uni bars with spotties on the front, my dad had a big spotties on the front of his EF and AU no troubles, but i think the Cage is your main problem. I am interested to why you got knocked back on them.

Even more setbacks. Went to check it out yesterday and not much progress. The front panel is there ready to be put in. But there's a problem with the rear end, looks like it's hit a curb or something on the passenger side, so getting that looked at. Hopefully nothing serious. [B)]
