[88][88][88][(#)] It just gets better, so next time you try to do a burnout and a security camera gets you [88][88][88] ring ring.

Just wait until the cops get you P plater [}:)] hahahaha [88][88] thats just asking for trouble, hope you know its an offence to advertise a car for sale without a saftey certificate [88][88] and you will get fined.

Maybe you should sell it so it goes back into proper hands [}:)]

Me? Burnouts? Never.

I've heard nothing about that. Not sure if it's true in QLD or whever you are, but here in VIC I've heard no mention of anything like that. And before you say anything else, all of our group have got them on our cars, and we've been pulled over a lot without the cops mentioning it.

Oh, and what do you mean by 'proper hands'? I built it to thrash it, not to keep it locked up in the garage. But hey, if you want to rescue it so bad, be my guest, I'll sell it to you for what I've spent on it. $14k and it's yours.

Any reason you get pulled over a lot?? or are they just targetting P platers again. [88]

Theres a defference between built and bought, go to your first post and see the pics when you bought it, thats a finished car. To get it to that stage requires a LOT of time and effort. Do a build like that and you might realise.
Also if you spend the time working on the car to fix it and not send it off to the shop to get fixed all the time you might see why thrashing a car constantly is not a good idea.
Keep spending your money you will never learn...

[88][88][88] Good luck getting 14k for it now, no one will buy it after there is movies on youtube of it getting the poo poo flogged out of it.

Considering I drive it sensible when I'm on the road (minus industrial areas, obviously), they're quite clearly targetting P platers. I can drive it around all day on my Ls and not get a second glance from the cops, yet the second my mate puts his Ps in it and goes for a drive, they're all over it.

Haha, you quite clearly know nothing. You do realise it had no engine in it when I bought it, right? You do realise I've changed the brakes, diff, interior, etc. since buying it, right? You do realise I've had to get new panels welded in and respray them to get a roadworthy, right? It was hardly a finished car when I bought it, I'd really like to see you try driving around in a car with no engine.

And I'm rebuilding one from the ground up as we speak, so I know what goes into it. Again, might want to do some research before you make comments like that.

Since when did I send it off to shops every time I've broken it? I've sent it off maybe 3-4 times to get things fixed. It's kinda hard to shorten a driveshaft in my back yard. And I'd also like to know why you figure I thrash it 'constantly'? It gets thrashed maybe 1/10th of the time it's being driven, at the most. I'd like to see you find one Escort on this forum that hasn't been thrashed before. And thanks for the offer, I will keep spending my money on it. I don't know about you, but I'd much rather drive my car how I want to drive it, and occasionally fix things on it, rather than leave it locked up at home only to come out for a cruise every second Sunday.

Going by your logic, no one's going to buy a track car because it's been flogged. Nice one. Here's a good idea; stop worrying about what other people are doing with their cars, and focus on getting your own finished.
