Steering rack question with alloy clamps

Hi All
 
Recently bought a 2.4 quick rack from rally design. Bought some alloy clamps to to hold her down. Stuck a little problem, the clamps don't clamp up, the rack just moves aorund inside... Have I bought the wrong rack?

    They transmit alot of harshness anyway. Just buy some new steel ones with new bushes.

    I bought same thing from same place. Mine came with plastic spacers. Fit was ok with spacers in.
