2wd Starter motor

Hi people.
 
Does anyone know of a localy available starter motor for a 2wd sierra cosworth?
I have the std Bosch one in at the moment.
I think mines starting to die!

    I went through this last year.  Almost impossible to source locally.  I ended up getting a new one from the UK.

    It hasnt died yet. Just thought Id better start looking now before I need it.
    Always good to have some spares around!
    Do you have the part numbers for starters from UK?

    If I remember correctly it is now a Bosch DW S489.

    A guy in Heidelberg took mine apart (standard 2wd) and rebuilt it with local stuff (I think falcon innards).  I think around $200 or so.  Forget name but can find out when back home next week.

    you should be able to get something from your local auto elect, as i have just found out one of my suppliers cam bring in the redution gear starters for x flows and pintos
