Mk1 Van Brakes

Hi All,

I urgently need some new rear drum brake shoes and drums to get my van on its way again.  Anyone know where to get them from in a short time frame?

Cheers,
Adam

Well the drums if they are 9 inch -- then Cortina mark 3 mk 4 mk 5 are the same or should be -- the shoes are a one off but there must be some where you can get them relined---

To be honest I'm not 100% - any info I have been able to find suggests that Mk1s had 8" drums, and Mk2s 9" drums, but I'm certainly happy to have someone confirm otherwise!

I didn't measure them when they were off the van, as I didn't do the work.  But if I get bored I'm going to take them off or check for stampings to try and nail down exactly what they are.
