Brake fluid

What brake fluid is everyone running in their remote reservoirs (the 7/16 screw on type that smcka sells). I ran Penrite super dot4 and it made the lid seals swell up and go soft. This has happened with fluid in there for only 2 months from new. The reservoirs that reacted with this brake fluid are NOT from smcka, but I am now replacing them with smcka ones and hoping they are from a different manufacturer. I still would like to hear what brake fluid others have used without problems.
