Escort Rs2000 Nose Cone Repairs

Hi All,
I've been doing a bit of research with people in the UK and USA regarding repair work on Rs2000 nose cones, this is what I've come up with.
 
The nose cone is made from Glycol RIM Polyurethane material which can be welded using an airless plastic welder through a brazing process where not too much heat is applied to the mother material.
Recommended rods are 5003R1 (Polyurethane).
Welding supplies are available through e-bay or directly with The Urethane Company in the US.
