Help with reasonable freight rates - UK to Aust

Hello everyone,
I am a newbie to this forum.  I have just purchased my first Escort - a Mkii RS2000 coupe that will appear on the project pages shortly.  It needs a full resto and is not matching numbers.
I have sourced a YB motor in the UK but the quotes so far for freight have been scary to say the least.
Does anyone have a contact for reasonably priced freight?  I am in Adelaide if that makes any difference.

Cheers,

James

You can't use the terms reasonable freight rates and UK in the same sentence.

UNDERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. OVERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the rear. HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the wall. TORQUE is how far you take the wall with you.

I had some wheels sent over last year and they were reasonable. I also have a lot of cosworth stuff that needs to come over so this info would be good to me as well.
I used anglo pacific to send my stuff a freind on another forum.
However when it did arrive i had to collect it from DHL in Perth. No worries about that as ai asked them to keep them till i could pick them up, that would have delivered them, just easier for me to collect.

If you are ready to ship right now I have a container leaving in about 2 weeks. I can arrange pick up in UK; you give me name addresss and phone number and I do it all. Container is going to Sydney and price will be around $500+/- to Sydney. However, freight SYD-ADL may be just as dear and might be a deal killer.
