I made it out of a wrecked fibreglass Cosworth one, genuine bits and converted it from Std 3 door to RS500

Here are some pics of what I did.... hard to tell but the wind tray never existed in the original bar and front was broken in half. You can see the grill indicator and side mounts from an original bar were transplanted and all the cracks ground out and resealed..

Most people would just fork out the money for a new one... I should have I guess

Hi Ty,
Glad to hear from you.
We are all going well, and the car although a bit slow is moving in the right direction.
I would like to catch up with what you and the Brady clan have been doing these days. I have been working away from home for the last two years, but am at home over the next month... so hoping to get some stuff done. Drop down at any time and I will show you where Im up to.

Regards
Gavan

Only just realised you're on the GC, cool.

Good to see some progress. What's the plan when it's finished, keep it a registered road car or track car?

Don't suppose you have a standard RS front lip off the bottom of that bar you made?

Paul.
