Fuel breather line.

Hey guys just a question, I pulled the charcoal canister out and that left me with the fuel line just sitting there. And not sure what to do with it? I was thinking of putting a little breather thingo at the fuel tank. Or even in the engine bay and mounting it near the washer bottle but not sure if this is safe as the fuel vapours... Would like some appinions thanks.

Cheers.

The breather line should already be in the boot.
The black curved cover covering the fuel filler, has four hoses from the tank into one.
The breather line drops down through the boot floor.

The excess fuel hose in the engine bay, would be a fuel return line.

Truee. Well the hose in the engine bay came off the charcoal canister? And my carby hasn't got a return. So where does this run to? And can I just plug it up at the other end or?

Just use a bolt in the line with a hose clamp.
Mind the brass fitting on the fuel line.
It will fall out, causing fuel to shower the engine.

Okayy I traced it back to the boot. And that's where it splits into 4 lines then goes in to the tank I'm guessing? The line was broken at about a quarter of the way so it was venting around about the diff area. And the line from there to the engine bay was doing nothing. Iv ripped it all out. Where is a good place to vent it to now? Just somwhere near the droptank?

Up high, higher than the tank if you can.....

I made the mistake of putting mine too low and going uphill on a full tank left a trail behind me.[:u]
