2lt engine into 1.6 body (Radiator)

hey guys, im currently builing my mk2, and i have my original 2lt pinto radiator, however the new body was originaly a 1.6 and looking asif it is not going to fit! can someone please point me in the right direction before i start to cut into my car.

    not a big job at all mate, the difference is there is (1)a cutout for the rad to fit into in the bottom support / front apron (2) the rad sits 'inside' the rad support (which is the obvious difference
