Stut tops and suspension advise?

I have been chasing an at speed steering wheel shake for years now and have had the rack rebuilt, rims straightened, bushes replaced, new tyres ect ect but the problem persist. Last time it was on a hoist we found excessive play in one strut top. So what now? The car is not raced or driven (too) hard. I know capri clinic have adjustable strut tops but are these street legal? Would I benefit significantly from adjustable strut tops in a street car? Where can I get standard replacements? whiteline dont have them. Any comments appreciated

You can try Burton Power in the UK, they have roller bearing strut tops that are a direct fit and take the load out of the steering. Also the adjustable strut tops will help with better steering geometry if you have lowered your car or it has been in a prang at some point. Try Kmac, they have 3 types and also Wilkinson suspension in WA they have the Noltek (I think) adjustable ones, they now own the rights to them. Basicly the same as Capri Clinic but around $100 less. Also just on the wheel wobble, many persons replace the outer bush in the lower control arms, but never fit the steel sleeve that goes between the two halves ( anti roll bar slides through it) or they actually fit the bush the wrong way around. Both issues will give you troubles.
