Can't get speedo cable out. - solved

Hi All.
I can't get my speedo cable out of the back of the gauge.
From the manual and the new cable it looks like it should just
come out.
Is it rusted in or there a trick i don't know?

    Push on the plastic thingo magigo that holds it in place, it has a little grippy thingo on it, squeeze and pull.

    Hey Brandon.
    No the plastic clip is already off.
    And the sleave slides back - but the pin is stuck in.

    Ahhh well theres your problem. Hmm Wd40?? Vise and multigrips? Drill? Hammer?

    Nah im not to sure aye. Try wd40 or somthing.

    got it - wd40 last that night did the trick.
