What's best, what fits? 2.0lt vs 2.3lt vs 2.5lt Du

Looking for peoples opinion when it comes to the Duratec family(MZR)of engines for a Mk1 Escort?

What is best in std form, 2lt, 2.3lt or 2.5lt?
Is the 2.5lt a taller engine?
Can carbs and an EDIS/Megajolt style of ingition and VVT management be used?

Thanks
Craig

I think 2.3 is best if you want an engineered street car. Or the 2L if you plan to turbo charge. Not sure on height for 2.5L, but the capacity of it means track use only..
