electric heater box ????????

Hi all fairly new here starting to build up a MK2 2 door and was just wondering if anyone has heard of, or if you can get an electric heater box that doesnt need coolant flowing through it as i dont want to run heater hoses, plus im running a fairly bare interior with no carpet or console and dont want the big bulky heater box under the dash. I still want the car to pass NSW rego so as far as i know it still needs a front demister??????? its a 75 model so not sure of the regs????? any help would be great.

Thanks heaps mick.

Have a look through Phil's Cortina build, I am pretty sure he used an electric heater module.

I have seen them used in a couple of the pommie build threads. Not sure how good they are though.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it a ADR reg that the heater has to have two speeds for defog of front sreen? I'm not quite sure.

under the SA Rally rego scheme you only need to have a method of demisting the screen. Doesnt matter if that is an electric element or a heater/fan.
