Mk1 fornt windscreens

Hey Guys,

I was just woundering if anyone knows where i can get a new CLEAR lamintaed front windscreen with no sun ban strip across the top.
Surely to god there has to be someone in Australia that makes clear lamintaed screens or could make one for me.

I have tried a numerous compnays and have brought about 2-3 windscreens and they all have the slightest tinge of green to them and have the sun ban strip across the top and i dont want that as a clear front window came out of it and want a new clear one to go back in to match my new side glass.

please let me know if anyone knows of someone can help me cause i really want one and have been looking for a while know.

    Protector Auto Glass in QLD does front screen, but am sure the have a slight grey tint at the top for the sun.
    I was told they are coming out of China or Japan so my guess they will all be the same.
    I will be puttin a new one in mine, i would rather the slight tint.
    Not sure what is in mine now as its been along time in a shed...

    Tinted band, laminated screens were an optional extra at the time so its not as though one would be out of place.
    My new screen looks great but when you look in the corner it says, "made in malaysia". Oops.

    Thanks for the help guys,

    have managed to get a hold of a guy that can get me them.
    he imports them from the uk saves me the hassel but not cheap.
