Engine mounts

Hi

Just wondering if anyone can confirm the correct thickness of the rubber engine mounts for a crossflow into MK2 escort manual. Are they supposed to be the same thickness on both inlet/exhaust sides (Mine are but i suspect they aren't meant to be)?

    If I recall correctly, the rubber section is the same width/thickness. The metal sections are different.
