1600 to 2000

What are all the things i can use from the 1.6l on a 2l. example, clutch, starter. alternator, mounts, etc

    mounts if you have some woth out the rubber on you drill them in the rigth place then use mexaco mounts they are longer
    the starter cog may not fit count the cogs and the diamiter---- bepends on waht gearbox you use and the flywheel moce the cooling system ---- best have a look at one that been done

    Clutch, no
    Starter, no (i'm assuming its not a 1600 auto, sometime they run a 2ltr style starter)
    Alternator, no
    Mounts, only the rubber part, the brackets are different.

    Best to be patient, I brought a 2l with 5 speed attached with all attachments and paid well for it, but since then there have been a number of 2l parts (blocks Heads etc.) go through both the forum and e-bay from projects that have either not gone ahead or changed direction at an extremely discounted price as compared to getting it done yourself.

    Just a suggestion

    Probably best to find yourself a donor car and use the bits off that.
