13x7 neg7 offset under stock mk2 arches?

I'm looking at some superlights for the daily mk2 4door. They are 13x7s with negative7 offset.
Anyone know if they will fit under stock arches with standard struts? or is rolling of guards required

cheers

I dont think they will without decent arch mods.

I have seen them on unarched mk2s before.

Considering the ideal 7" offset is 12P (positive) and you're looking at a 7N with places the wheel 19mm further out - I think you're going to have clearance issues even with rolled arches. It may be fine at rest but consider the wheel travel under compression and I think the rears are going to scrub on the upper inner guard(especially being a 4dr).

    Just my opinion but...........

I have 13x7 -7 wheels superlites with 235/50 tyres on MK1 with bubble arches. I dont believe would go close on a standard arch car. either MK1 or Mk2. They do look awesome though.

They obviously fit judging by the photo. It will be an expensive exercise should they not and you buy the wheels.

They do look very tough on the Escorts though. I can see why you like them. I love mine but im changing to ford 5 stud and they will need to go shortly.

The poms love stretching 185 R13's over 7 inch rims which may allow them to fit due to the tapering side wall.

    No my cup of tea.........

I fit 185x65 on 13s, works well and tightens the side wall for better cornering, less 'porridgy' than 205/215 x13
