Very lucky to walk away unscathed. I was shaken for a while, But able to work the next day to pay for it. Nothing like a little carnage to make you appreciate everything. Fun starts tomorrow, i will keep you updated with my mission.

That's a sad sight Mark, although I must admit I did have a giggle because you can tell where the Escort's have been parked by the oil on the driveway.

My driveway looks the same - Shell have apparently lodged exploration rights on the site as they think there is a large underground oil well[88]

Seeing you dedicated to rebuild this car has given me insperation not to scrap my old rs shell. I have been deciding what to do with it for about 10 years. I will just add it to the "to do" list. I might get to it in another 10 years maybe. gool luck with it.

Hi guy's, Juiceman is picking up Grants oil spotting habits.
The roof hit back out without a drama, and am doing the big roof exchange today. I will take the camera. So i can get a convertible shot.

Is a 2 door roof the same dimensions ?
The B Pillar would be further back on a 2 door, but if they are the same shape and size, then it would just be a matter of dropping it on to the top of the pillars ?
That said the C Pillar is a different shape isn't it - noting the 'gills' behind the window are different in 2 door v 4 door

I had to fool someone[:x)] Some pic's of the progress. A little bog and it will be as good as Gold. Don't worry TY, I may even go back to Monza Red. where are my opening 1/4 windows? A little effort finding the spot welds and using a horse shoe remover. I have been surprised what they want for a door David. I found a good passenger one for $165[:u]

Yes David, The Two door roof is different, Only the outer skin is the same until you get to the C pillars.
