Restore vinyl top

Does anyone have any advice on restoring a black vinyl top back to a rich, dark black colour. Its still in pretty good condition. Think there's a nice layer of dust in the pic and does come up better with armourall but as part of a full rebuild/respray would like to do something.

Was thinking something like:

The meguiars trim detailer works well.

part number G10810, available from any good parts store.

The first time you do it the finish will only last a short time, but the more times you use it the longer it will last.

I detail mine every 6 months. The first time I did all the trims it only lasted about 3 weeks, but now it retains a good finish for months.

    Cheers

    Thanks,

I'll reckon I'll give the forever black a go. Hoping the black dye should penetrate a bit more give the darker black back. Then maintaining with trim detailer should hopefully do the job

Thought I'd let everyone know how it went. Was really impressed with the forever black and would recommend it to others. Easy to apply and would work on any black plastic. I bought a few bottles online, only needed half to do 2 coats on the top. If anyone wants some let me know, $15.

Here's some before and afters. the yellow paper is just for reference to allow for lighting changes. You can see it even works on the windscreen seal, will have to touch up the whole seal, just wanted to see how it took it.
