clutch plate thingo for clutch cable?

Hey guys, im doing a manual conversion and iv pulled the old pedal box out and need to put the new one in after i put the clutch cable holder plate thingomajig. How do i get the old one out? do i need to drill out the spot welds? or is there and essier way??

    Drilling out the spot welds would provide you with a neater job as well as a more accurate one. Its not as bad as you think

    Yehh i went with that, drilled them out then ripped the plate off. but just gotta flatten out the firewall from levering the plate and when it ripped off, and i have to drill that oval shaped hole for the clutch cable, might do it with a dremel. Then tach the holes up from the engine bay side. And maybe a couple of tachs on the inside.
