Bigger is not always best. Just think its going to make you higher off the ground and it going to make it heaver ectect.
I bought 265.50.15's to go under my arched MK2 and have realized these are too big and will be going with 225.50.15's

Hey guys i have done some measuring up on my escort and have come to a conclusion.I aquired myself a b1800 diff which is 1360mm in width im having the axles redrilled to suit ford 5 stud pattern.

I'm going to run AU 15inch rims as it has more backspace than the EF/EL 15inch chaser style rims.

I easilly will be able to run a 235/60/15inch tyre under there. But im enlarging the well tubs so the rear of the car will sit lower with more wheel space aswell. But im also going to see if i can get a 265/50 15 under there but i think i will be very close to the rail....Will let you guys know how i go.cheers

Ok guys i slipped my courier diff under the escort.Left it 6 stud and i fitted a 205/65/15 inch tyre to the 15inch x 6.5 ranger rim.

I have some room and will be easy to fit my other 235/60/15 tyres under there. Will post up pics when its fully bolted up with the rims on and lowered.cheers
