Wouldn't answer my last e/mail, when i ask if he could help with extra postage, after he sent it with no postage and it turned up a Siemens in Sydney as he used a second hand envelope. And the guy tracked me down and sent it to me COD. So i'm out of pocket, and learen't my lesson about buying stuff of here

Definitely name them! Two reasons, save the rest of us from a similar situation and secondly all the good guys wear a bit of this unfairly by whoever it is remaining anonymous.

I've bought quite a few things from guys on the form and have NEVER had a problem. In-fact quite the opposite, I've found the guys go a bit further and offer better service than from most shops. Thats because its a community of enthusiasts that doesn't (well shouldn't stiff its members.

    Cheers,

The seller clearly stated that they were brown arm rests that had been painted black and needed to be repainted. Maybe you should have asked for some pics before paying such a large amount for them?

James, I'm also sorry about your experience.

However, like the others have commented I can only highly recommend buying from forum members. I have only had very positive experiences.

You might find if you give the arm rests a good scrub with a wet rag and and hot water (without wetting the foam), then a dewax, then paint with a good quality black vinyl paint they will come up just like new.
