my cosworth
After 8 years and a a lot of dollars I have my car just the way that I want it. I will post some photos soon but I get a lot of different opinions about what you should and should not do to it, thats OK with me also, we are all different. I bought the RS500 top spoiler and lower lip spoiler not to imitate it but because these really are the best bits to have on the car, and I like them. At one show I was at a guy said that the car was just a copy but in my opinion even without the other bits on it it is still a very special car. Any way what's your opinion have I ruined a standard cosworth or have I just tried to make something good look even better, If you are at any shows that I am at please come and talk to me as I love all ford cars especially the older ones,I am having trouble downloading photos, I will try later on

Looks good mate, I really like the spoilers. What car did the guy at the show have? might have been a jealously thing as he may have been driving home in a 120Y datsun? at the end of the day its your car and in my opinion, and i'm sure 99% of the forums opinion it looks sweet.

Hi David,
Great to have another Sierra owner on the forum & our own section now too. Your car looks great & who cares what others think, it's your car after all! Plus it would be a boring world if everyone liked the same things...
Cheers Matt

Ahhhhh you've got it parked next to one of my favourite cars of all time. I've been in "RS 500" before a few years ago and my life has never been the same since! Does Ty still own it?

No I bought it a couple of months ago so both the cars belong to me, the 500 is the quicker car, its ballistic in fact but the cosworth, which is not slow, is in perfect order and everything on it works and has been replaced with new parts including the engine, suspension and even the heater matrix. I have a bit of work to do on the 500 but within the next year it will be A1

Good stuff David. My perfect pair would be a standard RS500 in mint condition and a RS500 Group A replica track car. Just need a bit more space and funds to start on the track car project

Thanks for that I also think a standard RS500 is the way to go but I would be interested in other peoples views, what do you say leave it highly modified or take it back to standard
