Replacement tie rod ends - to rs or not rs

Hi there, looking a buying some replacement tie rod ends from Burton in the uk. There are two types listed - rs and non rs. What are the differences between the two? I have a aus spec factory 2ltr mk2 escort. Cheers

    That's because the thread on the UK RS model is imperial at one end and metric at the other, whereas all the Au Escorts (including RSs) used metric at both ends, right?
     
    Where's a good place to get decent (not necessarily top) quality replacements locally?

    Any decent parts store will be able to get them, and they're not expensive.  If you have problems PM me and I'll price a set.
