How long have you owned your classic Ford?
Nutters like us appear to be holding onto their favourite cars.

A Mk2 Escort Ghia was my first car back in 1992. I have had a few Escorts come and go since then but have held on to my RS which I bought as a 21st birthday present to myself in 1995. [:p] So, 16 years and counting... I have no plans to sell it.

Orange mk2 1300xl 2dr bought in 1995, converted it to 2lt plus all usual mods of the day, rear disk, 5sp, lsd, tramp rods, capri struts, venteds, volvo 4spots, Q/rack etc, etc. Still own but is very due for a Tarmac spec rebuild either Zetec or Duratec. the car never let me down or broke down , rare for Escorts !!

Just turned 14, gathered up all my money and bought a rolling shell off a mate, he felt sorry and chucked in a screwed engine so Ive had it for 4 years now, been on the road with said stuffed engine for nearly two.
