4 door problems

i have a problem with all the doors on my escort. they all seem to be very hard to open( lift the car halfway up to open them) and also the door locks aren't working... what should i do? would it be easier just to replace all the doors or what?? also how hard is it to replace the front and back window seals?

    Dude

Assuming the door gaps are good (ie that is the car has not had a big hit and is all bent out of shape), this will just be the alignment of the door locks and striker plates (in the pillars).

Buy yourself a good factory manual and adjust them one by one, its not hard.

If your wondscreen rubbers are stuffed, windscreen fitters will come and reinstall the rubbers cheap if you supply them. However - you can nearly guarantee some rust under the front rubber that will require a panel beater to sort out for you, partculalry if the car has not previoulsy been restored .

Does the front carpet get wet when it rains?

    Cheers
