teardrop mirrors

As im closer to making final decisions b4 painting .. I'm wondering if the teardrop xy falcon mirrors require special spacers to suit a capri.
I know and have normal xb ones but Im liking the idea of the teardrops..

No special spacer for the teardrops, they go straight on, but as whooligan said, they are useless, i have two cars with them and going to change them to the xb sytle mirrors.

Thanks guys for your input.. Does one have a spacer for l/h side that wont cost me both my testicles and right arm?? Im thinking shaping to size with a upside down belt sander on a slow setting to get it close. I think one edge is about 1mm and the other about 4mm .
