So once the setup is complete are you getting wider tyre???
or is it still the same width under the guards? offset etc.... (if that makes sense)
Phil i did some research and i can not find the photo at the moment but i found a guy who was installing the sapphire cossie irs under his mk2 cortina.. would have been interesting for you to see looked great and he had coil overs etc.. some decent size rubber under the guards too which is hard to do with cortinas without some body work etc... i will try find the pics and write up, but dont hold your breath....

I hope to get some wider rims,there always has been plenty of room under the rear.You can get 9 inch wide rims under std.

I dropped the diff housing off today!!!  It will take a few weeks for the finished product to emerge but Im sure it will be worth the wait.The specs will be:- Btr 28 spline. Mini Spool(until 4WD Systems have stocks of the re-engineered lokka) 3.89:1 ratio 1330mm disc to disc 5x114.3 pcd EL Falcon 300mm rotors and calipers with hydraulic handbrake 4 link anti squat able radial locating 2 link(watts)adjustable roll centre axial location Bilstien coilover adjustable dampers 1.5 degree neg camber 0.5 degree toe in Billet axles in the future once the whole setup is tried and tested[;^)]

The rubber bushes were replaced with sperical bearings due the shocks now carrying the weight of the car.....

They were welded on.The original bush just isnt up to coilover duty

Awesome !! [^]  [:p][:x)] How do you go about getting the neg camber... do you bow the axle housing slightly or seomthing ? Have you starting setting up the hydraulic handbrake yet ? as im going to set up a hydraulic handbrake on my mk2 as cable with disks is simply useless ! Cheers.

Yeah bending the housing is the easy way at the cost of the axle bearings and splines. I will just be inserting a hydraulic handbrake lever and master cylinder in the rear brake circuit.You realise it is illegal for street use?
