Phil, How are you making up the turrets for the shocks?? Will they be turret tubes like i have done or more like Allans set up?? I have used 4" exaust tube, cut up both sides and inserted a wedge to alow the shock moe room to move back and forward with the suspention geometry but i have only got between 5-8mm each side. Nothing hits but it is tight.

When I made mine the most appropriate material we had at work was 1.4mm sheet, which I also double skinned around the holes. To be honest, once welded into the floor pan it probably would have been fine, but as Hilux diffs aren't exactly the lightest things I figured it was probably better to be safe than sorry and am now spot/stitch welding a full second skin onto them. I'll post some photos when they're done if you like.

Hmmm, put it this way, you will have probably moved onto "Project IRS" before I've started fitting my 4 link!

The advantage to the late model watts link falcon borgwarner diff is it has a drainplug,so you dont need to remove the cover to drain the oil, which I only realised today....bonus!

As far as I know, only the falcon watts linked variants have a drain plug, due to the cast alloy cover/watts link mount not being as practical to remove
