    after a bit of searching, i found it;

    Pinto; 135-145kgs

    (just incase anyone searches for it again)

    so, the engine im looking at using should be fine (160kg "service weight" - ie, full of oil & coolant)

    and Sam, i still need to give back your battery. i haven't forgotten [:p]

    A long 2l Pinto engine. weighs the same as a Sr20 with all the manifolds and accessories.
    A short Pinto engine. weights the same as a long Sr20.

    Ok pencil neck.;p
    I can lift a Pinto bottom end onto a engine stand.
    And complete Sr20's into a ute.
    If my back fails one day, you will know why.
