Rear brake setup

OK now have my 9" 3:1 LSD diff centre I need to organise axels,
should I go with a rear disc setup? is this overkill?

I have a 302 and everything else std v6.
or is rear 9" drum sufficient, open to suggestions.

    just have the std front set up.
    was wanting to keep original 13"wheels,
