1.6 alt on a pinto??

would it work? im new to this so info is needed..
i've got a very clean 76 mk2 ghia 1600 (hasnt run for 8 years)and have just started the slow process of doing the pinto conversion (slow for me) and am missing a few bits, the alt of the 1.6 is basically new and i dont see why i cant use it on the 2.0

    You can fit the 1600 alt to a pinto, since they are mounted on opposing sides you need to carefully undo the the three long bolts which hold it together, once done you should be able to rotate the front housing(pulley side) 1/3rd turn making sure the back and middle stays put, replace bolts and if needed drill out the threaded mounting tab, check all spins freely and job done
