I have an 'Acme Vanguard'. It is just an imitation of a 'Trinity T-Spec'. I am pretty suprised with it, cause it only cost me $150 and by looking at the name u'd think it would be a lemon. But suprisingly, it came with some upgraded bits like Aluminium shocks and ball bearings. The only let down was that it came with no speed controller so i have to fork out some $$ for that.
I think I am gonna have to ring around some places to see if it is possible to get a mk2 esky shell. I'll let you know if it's possible to get one.

    planes
a cessna 152 - was tiny, had a cox .049, i crashed it. not beyond repair though..
a basic trainer (cant remember specifically) has a .2 os.. i bought this after the cessna as something bigger/easier to fly. the cessna was affected by a breath of wind, this ones more stable.

the half built ones one is a biplane and one is stunt plane..

    gliders
    brolga2 (2m span)
slope soarer (can't remember name either) i made from plans (about 1.5m span)

the 1st plane i had was the brolga 2 (glider) and i wrecked it first flight (i was only about 12, and it was way too windy to fly). Luckily my old man had guessed this would happen and had photocopyed every balsa part before i built it.. i was able to fix it real easy.. (basically rebuild the most of the wing and remake half the fuselage)
then i went to a club and they helped me with a first flight..
was the park flyer one of those electric ones? my mate has one and its great fun as long as there is no wind.. its onlt got 2 controls (throttle and v tail) which makes manovering it hard but simplifies flying..
theres some good rc simulators on the net for free.. if your interested i'll get the name of the one i have.. it helps to get over the problem of knowing which way to turn the stick depending on the orientation of the stick (and its fun, and free)

the one i had can be found at

    http://n.ethz.ch/student/mmoeller/fms/index_e.html

i had it working on a laptop a while ago but it won't work on my current desktop, who knows why. Its good fun, try flying the helicopters - they seem impossible to me..
