G''day guys i have a mk1 2 door escort i am looking to parrt with as i don't have the skills or time for it. it is a rolling shell with no interier, motor, box, bootlid or bonnet. front wind screen it also missing. it has a big of rust, but one big hole in the boot. it has some damage in the front passanger guard and grill. doors seem pretty good as does the drivers front guard. if anyone is interested send me a message and i can send some pics (all the pics i have are too big to be uploaded here) or answer questions, thanks Daniel. car is in gippsland victoria

I've seen this car and its not a basket case, definitely well worth saving, the chasis appears straight all the way to the front. If I had the space I'de be heading to Daniel with a trailer now!
It would be a shame to see this one lost [:u]

the doors have now gone, along with the diff and rear quarter glass. it is now just a shell with the front struts. it will be a shame to see it go. i seen on the forums here, a fella is selling panels for it, so i wouldn't think it would take someone with enough time and enthusiasum to fix it up to its former glorey.

Before you do that, consider the price that complete rear quarters go for. Get a big grinder, cut both rear quarters out and list them on ebay. Then take the rest to the crushers.

Cut through the top of the B and C pillars just below the roof. Cut through the sills in the door opening. Then cut through the rear panel, rear scuttle and floorpan. It's a bit of work to get them out but worth it. I've got a pick of a Mk2 rear panel cutout. I'll see if i can find it.

Thats it after i butchered it. You also cut the floor panel so the wheel wells are intact.
