my mk1 long term

some pics of my mk1 rs rep 2000
got heaps more as its well on the way to having the body work done now but all the files are too big to upload at this stage soon as i can figure out how to get them up i will its going to be 2.0 pinto seirra 5 speed english lsd rear about 120-130 bhp nothing too wild just nice clean drivable mk 1

    going to go old school a weekend driver got almost all the original rs2000 parts now got the undercarriage modified gearbox mts tramp bars etc done ,ive got the main body all welded and metal filed up ready for stripping and painting waiting on a new pair of guards still. going to start on the motor soon when i find a shop to do the machine work starting to get the parts for that sourced then do the build maybe late this year or early next just taking my time and doing it right and one day soon ill have a nice w/e cruiser

    some rust repairs not much on it and no previous body damage a great base for a project

    waiting on a guy up here in qld he,s importing them in from ireland should be here mid feb supposed to be a real good copy. i do have a couple of sets of second hand ones but as the rest of the body is really good i want good guards too .there on ebay the grey ones $440 ea

    thanks  actually i didnt use the replacement ones i decided to use my genuine ones instead  so the repo ones will be for sale some where down the line
