Yeah, I didn't think that one through.  Haven't been able to use the oven since!

Looks great as always Mish.

Installed the rocker cover along with some load spreading washers I got off eBay UK.

I might also try to tidy up the wiring too.

Cheers,

Matt

Had a play with the new front struts and Volvo calipers.  I had a set of old pads I threw in to make sure it all fits up nice and it turns out the rotors just rub on the caliper brake pad pins.  They still spin but make a little noise so it's only a bees' nut out.

I am not sure what to do as all I can think of is to machine the rotors down about 1 - 2mm so they'll clear.

Any ideas?

Here's a few pics.

Hey Mate,

I thought of that too.  How much stress are the pins under so I know how far to take them before I weaken them?

Cheers,

Matt

Goodo, This is my preferred option as I would rather not have any "wiggle room" on my calipers.

Cheers,

Quick update,

I ordered braided lines & brake pads today so should be here by weeks end.

I got QFM A1RM's front and rear so should be interesting to see how they go.

The braided lines turned up and look good.

I pulled out the front suspension this weekend and will hopefully get a chance to put the new set up in over the coming week.

Check out my daughter's little stool too!

Few pics

Cheers

One thing that is a bit annoying is that the dust rubbers on the TCA's have both perished & split.  I have only had them installed for a couple of months.

I have let the seller know and we'll see what happens.  You can get replacement ones on eBay for pretty cheap worst case scenario.

Cheers

I installed the strut tops today.

Just waiting on new "Green" Tie Rods and the replacement dust boots for the TCA's and I can thow it all back together.

Is there a good place to go to get a proper wheel alignment done in the eastern suburbs of Melb?

Cheers
