t9 5 speed quick shift spacer

Hey im hoping some body on hear can help me i have type 9 sierra 5 speed but the shifter has been converted to a quickshift, but they have misplaced the spacer. i need to bolt up the shifter but i have to make the spacer. What thickness is the spacer????, im going to make it out of nylon but i need to know how thick it should be. plaese help. Owen

    i made mine out of 10mm aluminium,using a standard shifter.works a treat.hope this helps

    it deprnds on the spacers on the poo pooer, most are 12mm spacing on the shifter and the gearbox to shifter spacer plate

    i have found lexan(industrial perspex) is easier to work with rather than most forms of steel as i used to make quick shift kits until the market was flooded

    Hey owen ring peter tonight if ya want and see if he can bring one to work tomoz? i'm pretty sure he bought a quick shift kit last month for a gearbox hes bringing over for me . Mick
