price?

hi, i may have found a mk2 esky shell with no motor, box and somehting to do with the steering.

what would a shell be worth, as i really have no idea on a price. dont know what interior is like yet, so a general idea would be great
i dont really want to rip myself or the owner off.

Thanks, Tom

Generally a 2 door is worth double that of a 4 door. If the the shell is complete and in RWC just needing a motor, I guess $600 would be fair for a 4 door. But as Gdub mentioned it depends a lot on the appearance of the vehicle- rust, paint condition etc

The year helps a bit too. Pre 76 is worth a bit more than a later shell.

pre 76 cars avoid having to comply with a couple of ADRs that can be a pain if you want to legally modify your car, ADR27a being the main problem.
