Zetec compression ratio limit

Does anyone have experience with machining Zetec heads?
The real question here is how much can be removed before the std
cams/valves start contacting the pistons.

I am looking to have a C/R of between 11-11.5:1.

Thanks
Craig

I got 1 head skimmed 0.080th without any problems, Best to buy JE or Probe pistons(10.8:1) which have valve reliefs cut in so you can still whip the head a millimeter or two & run big lift cams. Throw in a set of Eagle conrods for reliability(9000+rpm) My motor is a Blacktop , i also had the block decked 0.025th too.

Can you fit blacktop rods and pistons into a Silvertop block as the cranks are the same?
