new interior sunvisors

I have fitted a new headliner(off white moon crater) in my Capri, but the trimmer is not keen to do the visors as they will be sewn not pinch welded like the originals he doesn't think they will look any good. I know that there are lots of you who have redone your interiors and I am wondering what you did to get round it or if they look alright sewn

Thanks but apparently the seam on the originals have split so they need to be repaired (recovered)or replaced

May be stating the obvious, but what about buying a pair of good used ones and colour matching them. I have pairs of both styles with no splitting which could be yours............

That's what I am looking for thanks JR I will have 1 more talk to the trimmer Then I may get back to you. I think his biggest problem is he did my car then realised he had a Falcon coming which is an original resto' and he is now short of the material, first in best dressed you have got to win some times
