Other projects that get in the way of THE PROJECT"

Hi All

Well the old ensuite was looking a little tired so I thought I would save $12k and DIY it. Figured that should go towards the REAL project

Anyway - after a full day removing the 20 yr old tiles and screed I have a flat floor which I need to pull up to get to the under floor plumbing (2nd story) which needs to be altered for the new configuration.

Anyhow - for those interested I might as well start a thread as my "other project" has hit the go slooooow!

Anyway - here it is after the first day (I should have taken a before shot ...[:(!])

Nice work on the bathroom Paul. Do you have another one to use while this one is sorted?

This has been taking up my time for the last few months. A bit more sanding and some more paint and it should be done.

    Thank god yes!

Will post the finished product when done (the bathroom - not the RS )

I'm putting my other work (namely a repaint of the house & some landscaping) on hold until 'The Project' is on the road. That way the money doesn't get spent on other things and I can use the sale of the current car to fund the 'Other' projects

Nice one Paul, then you've only got the kitchen, 2nd bathroom, bedrooms, laundry .... to go [88]

With the walls to save you some time just rip the lot down walls and all, new sheets only $15
