Security for your small ford

Just built myself an immobiliser for my escort. Its a relatively simple relay based device however the beauty is in the arm/disarm circuit. The system is armed via a toggle switch however disarmed via a hidden reed switch behind the dash which you must momentarily hover the magnet approx 5cm away until the relay activates, once activated it will remain like that until the toggle switch is activated.

I'm wondering if others are interested as I can build these for under $80.
