Haha yer ive dropped a fair bit of cash into the fabrication work but saved myself a poo poo load by doing all the body work my self... The body will be better then factory by the time im done haha ive saved probably 10k by doing the body work my self cus it was pretty average wen i got it back from the sand blasters

I dont have a budget as such jus using common sense with my money... Doing heaps of research and not jus jumping on the big name parts bandwagon lol

I was thinking of putting a complete s15 dash into it its only like 50mm wider then tge standard dash... But ive gone off the idea n jus guna keep standard dash at this stage...

S15 dash would be original! They're awesome looking too. You can always dress it up a little, and make your own instrument cluster. I see the beginnings of the console you've got in there too, looks neat dude!

I can't wait to get stuck in to another project somewhere along the line.

Matt

Have you been following all the changes that are coming for modified vehicles up here? (I assume you are intending to get this registered?)

There are still heaps of questions to be answered by the "powers that be" but 6 point cages (and door intrusion bars) are off the menu for new cars under the new scheme.

I dont know if you could get a mod plate done and then rego it later but it might be worth speaking to someone local that does the blue plates now?

I think there is a link to actual copies of the new rules on the Brindabella Motorsport forum?

Cheers
