Wheels are now in motion

Well I picked this up on ebay the other day:

I think I paid a good price, and now I guess the fun part begins, first things first the cam covers getting painted red then I'm thinking about buying Poncams while our dollar is doing ok.

Builds gonna take a year or so seeing as I cant drive it for AGESSSS still, but hey Ill have some fun.

should be up on the engine stand tonight, only got it home yesterday at 9 P.M

is it a DE+T, or a DET? silver rocker cover is usually non turbo engine, unless its been swapped or painted.

my mistake, has the coil pack cover on it as well, which im pretty sure will not bolt onto a silver top rocker cover. nothing wrong with the DE+T, you just cant run a lot of boost.

I want to put Poncams in it and get all the Tomei head work to go along with them, then upgrade turbo (not 100% sure what yet), and whilst Im doing that may aswell get a new exhaust manifold, then I also want a Ikeya Formula plenum and guess Ill have to get injectors too :P

all in all Im going to waste every last cent on it :P

yup thats the one, need to find out if ther'll be enough space in there though :P

I wanna make 240-260 kilowatts at the rears, but a responsive 240-260 not just bolting on a massive turbo.
