Im begining to feel Fehlbies pain.
Car got picked up ok, but its just sitting at the work shop as my new lumenition fitting kit was supposed to arrive via express post this morning but on the one day I didnt need them to stuff up they did. No fitting kit, it was still not recieved into Adelaide at around 3pm(by their tracking system) so hopefully tomorrow. Then I will go down and fit it and then boostworx can take over. Not expecting it back for a few days.

Geez I miss it. Cortinas just not the same Boat like handling with alot less power[xx(]

Few pics of how my plugs looked after I got it back from last dyno[:(!], condition of rotor and it leaving today.

Ok so minor update.

Car was way out of tune (need I say more about previous tune [}:)][:(!][:(!][}:)])
Way to rich across whole rev range other than flat out throttle and even then it was still a bit rich. Almost seems like car was given a hard hard power type run for peak power and no drivability.

So with 41 degrees outside and with car inside in a blackrooom with no aircon so Im guessing up over 45 degree it pulled 10kw/s less on the dyno but is now driving!

Car was sitting near top of temp gauge on way home so I didnt give it a real test but didnt seem to have any problems.

Been told I can take it back when its cooler as it will take a few more degrees timing to get more power out of it.
For now Im happy too just have it driving, so next I'll get cooling system sorted then send it back for an adjustment. Also alot happier with serivce I received.
And Rhys as far as price comparison goes, this place is hands down winner for price/service/knowledge.

Rhys......42 degrees? Perfect for cruising??
Working all day mate, plus car would overheat. We should catch up soon though.

Lucas,
B45's came on the car. Theres an advert for the car when it was for sale many moons ago a few pages back.

I took the back end down to bare metal as it was up shiet creek panel wise. Other than that I only took it back to bare metal where it was required.
I did sand through a few layers of paint though all over the car to get it smooth. I also took roof gutter seals and rear window qtr corners back to bare metal.

It wasn't supposed to take me too long but I became pretty pedantic about it and spent alot of time trying to perfect certain areas I was fixing. Still would change things if I could go back. I had a mate weld the bottom of the front gaurd up where it had rusted only for it to be folded under the car when winching it onto a car trailer the night it was getting painted. So that was fixed in a bit of a hurry by a professional panel beater another matte of my mate painting it so it could still be painted that night.

I'll give you a hand if you need it, but Im also still amatuer.

Today I got reverse lights hooked up, adjusted handbrake and started tidying the boot up. Next will be fixing a parker light thats not working and start covering up wiring loom in engine bay.
But tomorrow I will change oil and filter and adjust tappets as its about time.
