I just thought you could use a full piece of hose to supply the high pressure pump...thats all..... instead of using two pieces of hose and a plastic piece...... Just don't look safe..... just looks abit tackey too....but thats my thought....

Mickas, If you read my reply earlier you would see that there is no plastic used in my setup at all except at fuel rail where it is factory on the sierra fuel rail petrol inlet. The piece you are referring to is off an XE falcon and is metal and made for that job I've got it doing (stick your head under an EFI wagon near the tank to see). As far as tacky goes[}:)], well thats cool because its by far not a show car and I've not claimed it to be nor built it to be, its more for practicality . A full piece of hose would need a fair kink in it to make that curve. Also car is in project section meaning its a work in project so its not yet finished. Still trying and testing different things to see what works best. So far I'm happy with it. Rhys&Blake, Yeh will be keeping manifold black but may sand the Ford logo and possibly the EFI logo to define it a little. Rhys

That would look really good. Sort of like those pinto rocker covers, would make it look a lot more old school.

Well I'd like similar to Russ' but I've got a mild cam in comparison with his so not holding my breath. Just like to get close.

85.9 rwkw's
But all I got to do was drive it around the block and it broke down. Has not spark so ended up getting RAA out because I wasnt near home and he reckons ignition module shat itself and it earthing out coil. So another set back but hope to fix it soon.

Ummm yes I was fairly well knackering the balls off it [:I] Stalled it doing a U-turn (thanks to learning my new clutch) and wouldn't start again. Cool! 3-4hrs later Ive got the car home and just tried another ign module. No luck. Not happy.

Its hard to say what the EFI uppgrade is like as I haven't driven it for 3months so its hard to sorta feel it. Feels quick but dunno how much more. Driveability is quite different. Only did about 1km before it died.
Yes quite weird how it just decided to poop itself on me. Lets hope I soon find the problem instead of spending many fruitless hours searching.
