Yep got it all bar fuel hose and filters. Carb is a 38DGAS. Cam choice- well it was in the car when I bought it many years ago. And when engine was stripped it was still in great condition and I was pretty happy with the power band so I thought why not save money and re-use.
As far as lift goes I know nothing about Crow cams but I looked up that cam and its got slightly more lift, im not cluey enough to translate the figures into knowing what it (crow cam) would be like to drive. Someone with more knowledge of both might be able to help you. Im still learning also
Is that the cam your going to get?

Well guys and girls this ----> is a minor understatement of my face today.
Rego'd my car and took it on its maiden voyage. And f&%k it was a good feeling!

Did a few laps of the block, but that was it considering lack of bumpers, front indicators, partly assembled interior etc, didn't want to go to far a-field.

Been driving a 1600 for the last 2yrs basically so it felt quick, but who knows yet Im only running it in so didn't give it too much.

Hope to have bumpers on tomorrow (still in primer) and bonnet on so I can go for a decent drive.

Anyways just an update, but im over the moon. Don't know what it feels like to first drive your car after someone else has restored and fixed everything for you (don't have the money), but when you've done it yourself.....its bloody excellent feeling of achievement.

Will get bumpers painted and car cut and polished in near future.

Got a few pics too

Rhys
