    Agree with Muzza and Phill. Headlights, Low and High beam and horn. You can use the original wiring as your switch wire source.

    Thanks fellas. Its for a track car so only 1 beam needed, will it be ok to run the tail lights off the same switch? Also any suggestions on what wire gauge to use where.

    set up the RS Hi&Lo beams on a dual relay 15 years ago - still going strong.

    I note youu have a ? for the fuse amperage, simple way to work out the amps load:-

    Watts/Volts=Amps

    For example a set of 100 watt spotlights would be;

    (100x2)watts/12volts = 16amps load

    Cheers

    RE: Tail lights. I have LED tail lights which fit in the same holder as my original globe, They work great and use next to no current and will never need replacing. Check out EBAY for led globes if your interested!!!

    HID headlights.

    not sure if they are allowed in motorsport, but if so, hit up Volatile Customs, say your off Antilag and they give you a pretty good deal.

    Hids wouldn't be a problem have a mate that does the conversions for the 4wd crowd, but just a replacment led would be to easy

    pretty sure there are'nt any LED headlights as such, as they just dont have the range as a HID. if you have access to cheap HID's, definetly go for them, as cannot be beaten. i run them in all of my semi-decent cars.
